Mahershala Ali front and center in the latest True Detective trailer05.11.2018

The third season of the record-breaking HBO drama is slated to return to our screens this January. 

The latest installment in the anthology series will focus on detective Wayne Hays, played my Mahershala Ali (winner of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his turn in Moonlight). He will be joined on the screen by Stephen Dorff, Carmen Ejogo, and Ray Fisher. 

True Detective’s third season is set in the Ozark Mountains. The first episode (which will premiere on January 13, 2019) is directed by Jeremy Saulnier, director of the highly acclaimed Blue Ruin (2013) and Hold the Dark (2018).
